KINSHIP CARE
Grandparents, Relatives, & Fictive Kin
Kinship care in Georgia- In 2012, Georgia had the 6th largest number of grandparents living with grandchildren in the U.S. According to the 2013 American Community Survey, approximately 253,127 grandparents in Georgia are living with their grandchildren.
Grandparents are responsible for 2.7 million grandchildren in the U.S. Each One Teach One Together assists grandparents and other caregivers in identifying and accessing resources. Services available to families include: Child Care, Community Support, Financial Support, Training, Legal Services, and Health & Wellness.

FAMILY AND PARENTAL TRAINING
Parenting is part natural and part learned and therefore ongoing parent skills training is essential to blend the two.

It takes a Village
Parental support is essential to maintaining strong families and building strong children. Each One Teach One Together, Inc. understands that parents sometimes need help. We also recognize that needing help is not a weakness but an opportunity to grow and become stronger.
Parental support generates confidence and empowers parents to take an active role in the lives of their children. Each One Teach One Together Inc. provides parental training through classes and workshops, referrals for health & wellness services, tools to navigate a child's educational needs [i.e.-testing services, Individualized Education Program (IEP)], and support groups.
